Kaoru Mitoma (26, Japan) has re-signed with Brighton after rejecting a bid from Manchester City.
The Seagulls announced on Tuesday (June 20) that they have signed Mitoma on a long-term contract. The contract will run for four years until June 2027,” the club announced. Mitoma joined the Seagulls in 2021 and will now spend the next six years in Brighton’s blue jersey, playing across Europe.
Mitoma is the most prolific single-season goal scorer by a Japanese soccer player in the English Premier League (EPL).
