‘Reserve eagle’ Hwang Young-mook flawless in Independent League farewell game…helps Yeoncheon Miracle win unified title

Hwang Young-mook (24, Yeoncheon Miracle), who will make his KBO debut in a Hanwha Eagles uniform in the 2024 season, had a farewell game in the independent league. Hwang Young-mook, who began playing in the independent league in 2019, is a right-handed infield utility who has been recognized for his excellent contact ability and quick feet. He caught the attention of scouts in the KBO, and was picked up by Hanwha, who wanted to bolster their infield utility resources.
