‘Ryu resurgence’ keeps Toronto at No. 10 in power rankings…Baltimore jumps two spots, Tampa Bay four

The Toronto Blue Jays of Major League Baseball (MLB), who are battling for a spot in the Fall Classic with the resurgence of “Korean Monster” Ryu Hyun-jin (36), maintained their top 10 spot in MLB.com’s Power Rankings. Despite their ups and downs, the Blue Jays remain in the top 10.

The power rankings, released on Friday (ET), show that the teams in the dreaded American League East remain strong. Toronto sits at No. 10, while the Baltimore Orioles and Tampa Bay Rays move up one spot to No. 2 and No. 4. Only one of the six major league districts had three teams in the top 10.

The Atlanta Braves remained in first place. With 90 wins (46 losses), Atlanta has the best winning percentage (.662) in the majors. They’re 8-2 in their last 10 games and hold a three-game lead in the National League Championship Series against the Los Angeles Dodgers.

The Dodgers, who were once in first place, have faltered recently, 바카라 dropping from second to third place. The Seattle Mariners, whose recent two-game losing streak has halted their steep rise, also dropped one spot from fourth to fifth. The Milwaukee Brewers, Houston Astros, Philadelphia Phillies, Texas Rangers, and Toronto round out the top 10.

The San Diego Padres, the team of Kim Ha-seong and Choi Ji-man, moved up one spot from 21st to 20th. The Pittsburgh Pirates, with Bae Ji-hwan, jumped two spots from 25th to 23rd. The Boston Red Sox, who are in the same division as Toronto, dropped five spots to 17th due to their recent struggles.
